Ayago is studying for a MPS in International Agriculture and Rural Development. His current research interests are in rural resource management and livestock production systems. For his MPS paper, Mr. Wambile intends to assess livestock milk production among pastoral communities in Arid and Semi-Arid areas of Kenya using econometric models.
Before coming to Cornell, he worked at AFREPREN/FWD - Energy, Environment and Development Network for Africa as a project officer where he was involved in research on energy, environment and sustainable development issues in Africa. During this time contributed to several publications including journal articles, national and regional reports, occasional papers, working papers, and workshop proceedings.
Ayago earned his first degree in Finance and Banking from Africa Nazarene University. He has also attended several professional training courses. He hails from Kargi, Marsabit District, Kenya.
