Kelsey Mitchell is a senior at Cornell University majoring in International Agriculture and Rural Development with minors in applied economics and global health. She is currently working with Chris Barrett doing a social science stripe review of the CGIAR centers and their impact. She is actively involved in AIESEC, an international organization promoting cultural understanding and leadership, and she also plays club lacrosse. Kelsey spent the summer after her freshman year working and living in an orphanage outside Accra , Ghana . This summer she is working in Jaipur, India with SIDART, a local NGO centered on women's issues. She will specifically be working with domestic violence and education of women and children. Kelsey enjoys hiking, camping, reading for pleasure and playing pick-up sports in her free time.
