Workshops

Working with Intergenerational Farm Families

New York ag-service providers will learn how to work more effectively with their farm family customers. This workshop will explore personality and communication styles, intergenerational family issues, the connection between farm and family, networking, and making referrals.

Registration Information
The $30 registration fee includes lunch. Recommended workshop size is 20 to 40 persons; smaller and larger groups can be accommodated with some changes in format. Call the NY FarmNet office at 800-547-FARM for more information and to schedule a date for your workshop.

Audience
Agricultural professionals and businesses, consultants, lenders, and extension educators; workshop can be adapted for farm audience.

• Recognize generational and interpersonal issues that affect family relationships and businesses

Teaching Format
This one-day workshop utilizes lecture, discussion, and small-group activities.
