Biography
Harry M. Kaiser teaches and conducts research in the areas of price analysis, marketing, and quantitative methods. He is the Gellert Family Professor and associate dean for academic affairs at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. Kaiser has written 145 refereed journal articles, five books, 17 book chapters, and over 150 research bulletins, and received $8 million in research grants in these areas, and is a fellow of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.
In 2005, Kaiser was elected president of the Northeastern Agricultural and Resource Economics Association. He received the highest award given to alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire—the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award. Kaiser also received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota, which is the highest award conferred by the university to an alumnus. Kaiser received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the Department of Applied Economics, University of Minnesota, in 2009.
