CareersOn-Campus RecruitingAEM students are recruited by top employers in the private sector for careers in banking and finance, marketing, management, consulting, accounting, auditing, retailing, sales, purchasing, as well as in the public and nonprofit sectors. Because AEM students are in such demand, their starting salaries are higher than the national average of business majors. Getting StartedYou will want to become familiar with the outstanding services provided by Cornell Career Services and the CALS Career Development Office as soon as possible—even in your freshman year. It is never too early to begin exploring career and internship opportunities by attending their career fairs, using their career libraries, and talking to alumni through the web-based Alumni Career Link. You can also talk to career counselors and job-search coaches, learn how to write great resumés, practice your interviewing skills, or research employers and organizations. Don't forget, too, that your advisor and other AEM faculty can be excellent sources of job leads. Career Services for AEM Alumni
