AEM Alumni Network
AEM's Undergraduate Business Program and graduate
alumni, current students, and faculty are invited
to become part of the new AEM Alumni Network.
The first chapter has been formed in the New
York City metropolitan area to give our alumni
the opportunity to reconnect with their fellow
classmates and establish contacts with Cornell
business peers working in a wide variety of industries
and agencies.
Alumni will also play an important role in helping
current students learn more about career paths
and job and internship opportunities in their
companies and organizations through the AEM Alumni
Mentorship Connection.
Upcoming & Recent Events
June 18, 2008: Over 200 AEM
alumni attended the Network's summer event at
the Town
Tavern at 134
West Third Street at Sixth Avenue. Pictures!
January 18, 2007: The Terrace
Club at the Rockefeller Center Hotel again welcomed
over 150 alumni for a fun evening in January. Pictures!
January 8, 2007: Also during
winter break, 11 AEM Alumni Network members joined
the 23 Cornell undergraduates and 3 faculty members
taking part in the AEM Marketing Study Trip at
the Cornell Club in New York City for dinner
and a panel discussion. Alumni shared their internship
and current job experiences, and offered advice
for making the move to the city.
AEM Alumni
Mentorship Connection
The goal of the AEM Alumni Mentorship Connection
program is to provide academic and career guidance
to current AEM students from alumni who have
traveled down these paths once before.
As an AEM Alumni Mentor, you will be sent 3
to 5 questions from a current AEM student (e.g.,
what was your favorite class, which student organizations
did you join, did you have a summer internship,
where do you work now). You can answer these
questions via e-mail or, if possible, during
a 5-minute phone conversation with the student.
Professor Dale
Grossman will be helping to oversee the program
and all student communication.
To become a mentor, please submit the online address
update form. Please feel free to contact Joe
Benevento with any questions about the
new AEM Alumni Mentorship Connection.
